◎ The earliest power plug and socket power strip was invented in 1904 by Harvey Hubbell II. The US patent number is 774250, which is a screw-in type. A two-hole power outlet whose power strip is not fixed to the building. Manufacturers adopted the Haber model, which was common until 1915.
